Visitors to London are often fascinated with the villainous antics of 'Jack the Ripper'... but he wasn't the only killer to stalk London.
Our capital is packed full of gruesome tales of crime and murder and, from the safety and comfort of my taxi, I'll take you all over this vast city, where you will discover some of London's most gory- and morbidly fascinating- crime history. Highlights include:
*The home from which Lord Lucan mysteriously vanished...
*The hunting grounds of Plunkett & MacLine; the 'gentlemen highwaymen.'
*Shadows of John Christie; the notorious serial killer who stalked Notting Hill during the 1950s.
*The tragedy of Ruth Ellis... see the Hampstead Pub where the last woman to be executed in the UK shot and killed her abusive lover...
Plus many more.... (although please note, Jack the Ripper is not included- this is an investigation of London's various other killers!)
Being a long tour, I will also be happy to point out various other bits of London trivia along the way!

Before being allowed to drive a cab, London's taxi drivers are required to complete an intensive course of study called 'The Knowledge', in which we have to learn every road, street and alley in the city, along with the buildings and places of interest which stand upon them.
This training is extremely detailed and takes a considerable time to complete (I personally had to study for 4 years before I received my taxi badge!) 'The Knowledge' therefore ensures that London's cabbies know their city inside-out.
I am also a qualified 'London Taxi Guide'. This title was awarded to me by the 'Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers' after completing a course (involving both written study and practical guiding skills) on London's 2,000 year old history.
All in all, I am passionate about my city, and I look forward to welcoming you on-board my cab!
